Re: Insurance repair and compliance and VIN plates

Im guessing the other driver was insured with the same insurer? otherwise why would they question it being they would be recovering costs from the other drivers insurance.

Re: BENT RAIL BETWEEN REAR WINDOW AND BACK SIDE WINDOW

think the tub is fixed mount and its the cab thats moving combined with the fact the corners of the canopy stick out a bit.

Certainly not good and i would have been p***** too if mine had broken the paint rather than the small dings it had.

I have not heard much good about their shocks, especially the twin tube.

If your only going 2" lift UCAs are really not needed, more for 3"+ to allow you to get correct alignment.

Re: Good bye Ranger

It's interesting, I used to have a V8 diesel 79 series and not only hated it, but spent over $10k attempting to keep those lousy injectors from crapping themselves. The ride was terrible and the noise level in the cabin was ridiculous - no sound proofing whatsoever. Yes, it was a very capable truck...

Re: Good bye Ranger

Haha love the banter :) I would have loved for the Ranger to be reliable and still have it but it was not to be. Im sure it was partially early model issues / luck and a bit of what i put it through. If ford picked up their game warranty / support wise it would be nice. I still read the forums often...

Like the Dana but its too expensive for just a diff, if i do anything ill likely go the Jmacx coil conversion which comes with a stronger/wider diff. Front end iv got an ARB bar going on, it was meant to be done at delivery but they got the wrong bar with the smaller tube rather than the large tube....

Re: Good bye Ranger

Mostly so i could have a bigger tray.

Not a fan of the weight distribution of the dual cabs being all behind the axle which makes them a less steady / capable off road.

Cab is a little small but once i get a canopy on it won't be a problem.

First weekend away with the new cruiser. Have to say im not disappointed, if anything more sold on it. Yea cabs not huge but its generally just me and once the canopy is done ill have plenty of room - cargo cases until then.
