Locals here lift their wipers as well, the missus tells me they do it because they think the blades will stick to the windscreen.

Defo into mods still, 2" lift happening next weekend then I'll be looking for wheels and tyres, prolly go a 22" rim with 285/45 tyres like my old ranger had.

Went for a spin in my old Ranger about a month ago. Fella that bought it off me put a 1UZ in it initially and had just finished a built 1uz twin turbo engine.... goes damn good !!

looking a new air box lower today that does not have the valve (but has provision for one) I cannot see why one can't be made from a bit of bicycle inner tube.

its only a rubber disc.

Built on the Everest Chassis and only 500 built.

Ford Thailand did it so that the Everest is "pickup based" and thus is taxed differently from an SUV or some such dribble.

That explains why it was not happy then, there is too much airflow through the larger pipe, does not explain why if you swapped pipe back to OEM ID though.

The piping, was it same Internal diametre as OEM ?

The sensor placement, was it into the piping the same depth as OEM ?

The adapter you made to return piping to oem dia for the maf sensor.... how far either side of the sensor was it oem dia ? When I did the cold air intake for our diesel Mazda 2 race cars I was told tubing either side off the maf had to oem dia and atleast 100mm either side and the maf the same dista...

Yes the spare is 265/60 R18 and the tyres on the vehicle are 260/60 R18. All Bridgestone H/T Main issue I have is my tyres are down to 3mm of tread after only 15500km of use. got a pic of the tyre sidewall showing 260/60/R18. I ask as that is not whats fitted by Ford and a quick look at the bridges...

Dont know if it is sold to the general public as it is not listed on the website but Harrop do front disc and caliper kit for us (2 piece 380mm rotors/6 piston calipers).

Might be worthwhile giving them a call but beware though it is not a "cheap" upgrade but the braking performance is outstanding.

Thats what I was moving towards nova. when the seat belt is not under tension those upper adjusters are very loose in design.
