Okay, just checked And I didn't fit the spacer, so you don't need to trim the thread. How ever just fitted it back on with spacer and reception is still poor.

Does anyone know if the song info can be turned off, or rather back on. When I picked up my Ranger on Wednesday the song info was on the screen but after playing with all the features it is no longer there. Still have station name showing. Also still have the standard aerial.
