As they said the viscous fan is good, next and cheapest thing to do is replace the thermostat. 115c would be the engine working it's bum off, even towing my van I don't see 95c that often, so something is a miss.

I have a stock at home and just replace any that give trouble. When changing my oil filter, I put a little olive oil on the thread of the ones that hold the rubber flap and they come out easily, I just wash any area where I want to remove them from.

here is a video that will show you where the crank angle sensor and the bolt that holds it is. The gearbox doesn't have to come out to change a faulty sensor. No offence meant here but another reason is, some travel with their left foot resting very lightly on the brake pedal, I am sure everyone has followed a vehicle where the brake light goes on and off for no reason.

I see a Raptor finished the Baja 1000 in the stock class. It was the only one in it's class but just to finish is pretty good. I see 2 other vehicles in different sections of the stock class failed to finish. I see only 137 vehicles finished out of 276. https://www.drive.com.au/news/ford-ranger-rapt...

This came from a fella that tunes all sorts of diesels from small, trucks on to powerstation engines. He wasn't trying to sell me anything as mine has been tuned for years. His take was, if you are going racing or want a very quick vehicle then a dyno is required, if you want an everyday tune you do...

Rangers seem to be hit and miss with vibrations - some have none and some have lots! I have changed centre bearing, UJs, had driveshaft balanced, removed dampener, tailshaft spacers. They all get rid of a vibration but soon enough another one pops up. I gave up and just put up with it, only a small...

One of the three tai shaft uni's could be stuffed and as butch said check the inside of the tail shaft balancer for mud..

I guess the calculation will go something like this... 13.8/120 = .115 amps (V/R=I) , so 13.8*.115 = 1.587 watts (P=VI) . You'll need something rated at about 1.5 watts or higher.
