It should be fine, however, if you can shift it to the other side of the fuse somewhere, it would be perfect.

So what's the weight of the oem springs?
I upgraded mine but reckon they're no heavier. Ok, I didn't weigh them, but there's no way they are 30kg each heavier.

Howdy Gerry The head unit runs android and I just found out that as I had oziexplorer installed direct into the unit and not on an sd card, the unit uses google play and won't really recognize / work properly with the android operating system of oziexplorer - well that's what I've just been told by...

G'day Gaz, Mate, been using Oziexplorer for at least 15 years and use it for all our trip planning. Question: is your head unit windows or android? Either way, I would strongly suggest you get a windows laptop or pc with Oziexplorer to do all your planning, then upload the files to your device. I us...

If it's a PX2 it won't have AEB (autonomous emergency braking), that's only just come out on the PX3. The trigger wire MUST be connected to the brake pedal switch and not directly to the tail light circuit. There's 2 wires there so use a meter to identify which one is live when the pedal is depresse...

There is a list of vin numbers, but can't remember where... Google should find it though. Any Ford dealer can look it up with your vin number... if they say they can't the...

Re: Compressed air or venturi diesel pump
G'day hoyks, It's actually reasonably quick considering it's a smallish tube, although if you make it yourself you can use a larger tube... mine is 1/2" or 12mm which helps. A jiggler hose is ok as long as you have somewhere high to lift the can on to. Anything's better than standing there trying to...

Yep, made it up myself many years ago. Basically a jerry can lid with a car valve in it, along with a hose that reaches to the bottom of the can and also long enough at the outer end to extend up to your filler. Just use your compressor to add some pressure... but not too much!!! You'll only need a ...

Yes, I know all about the TPMS interference! I tried for months to 'fix' an intermittent TPMS sensor malfunction that would pop up on the screen quite regularly. Even Ford had a go and I also changed the sensor that appeared to be giving me the issue. It wasn't until I bought my own sensor activatio...

While I agree that it's not a great idea, the main problems arise when using a tow ball with a snatch strap. That advertised strap is strictly for towing and presumably is not made to stretch and store huge amounts of energy like a snatch strap, so wouldn't generate anywhere near the same sort of fo...

Good to hear you're happy with your new ride. But just be aware that it doesn't have a centre differential in the transfer box, so you should only run in 4 high in loose and off road conditions. Running in 4wd on hard surfaces will create undue stresses on the driveline and can ultimately cause dama...

I agree, it would be controlled via the canbus system and certainly not by a 'flasher can'. As suggested, simply fit the appropriate resistors.
