Re: headlight globes
The OSRAM lamps are good, the only thing is they have a vastly reduce life due the the tighter winding of the tungsten filament. To offset this a little they also use a Xenon gas filling instead of straight halogen gas. I have a little inside knowledge on this, worked there for 10 years or so going ...

Re: Ford Paint Codes for colour matching bull bar???
Black is 16W, I went to my local dealer to purchase some touch up paint, he couldnt find it straight away, took a number of phone calls and came back with a Mazda code for black, which I am guessing is the same. I did tell him at the outset that the colour code was 16W though and that what was liste...

Which snorkel to buy
G'day fellow PX Ranger Owners, of those people who have had snorkels fitted, has anyone got a Safari snorkel fitted? Can you post a couple of images as I want to have a look at what it looks like before deciding which way to go. I havent found any decent images of the Safari type. Has anyone had the...

Re: headlight globes
It is interesting to know that ADR is looking at LED's fitted to the front of 4WD's or any car for that matter as the VICROADS does say that only 6 forward lights are legal on the front of vehicles. The question is, are individual LED's within lightbars or conventional looking driving lights counted...

Re: EGR TONNEAU Cover
Couldn't agree Paw, I was thinking it would be the same as I had on my FG XR^ Ute, clearly not, does anyone know of another brand that will allow for the whole tonneau to be removed rather that rolled up?
Cheers

EGR TONNEAU Cover
G'day Everyone,
Has anyone ordered their Ranger with a FORD ERG Tonneau Cover accessory? If so, what are you thoughts on not being able to remove it as it only rolls up? Personally, not overly impressed.
Interested to hear your thoughts.

Dunno

Re: headlight globes
G'day Ross, It is a simple like for like replacement, the plug just comes off the back of the lamp connectors, you just need to squeeze the tabs to get the plug off. The left had side is a little more time consuming as the gap between the battery and the relays mounted to the front section of the ca...

Re: headlight globes
G'day Everyone, I read with interest the thoughts about what do to about upgrading the head lights lamps (globes) in the PX Ranger. I too have a new Ranger and found the light from the head lights to be a little poor so I invested in a pair of Philips Xtreme H4's and they have been a marked improvem...
