How have you found the tune Shane?

I'm considering upgrading from a PX1 to a PX3 eventually and want to tune it straight away.

My current PX1 manual weighs in at around 2800KG and struggles to hold 110km/h up a hill.

The Tickford tune would be a very mild reflash where as a proper tune on a dyno would be tailored to your vehicle.
You're more likely to make more power and torque with a reputable tuner.

Why not strap all the chairs or swag on the roof bars you already have?

Probably easier to get rid of the ranger and start with a Patrol.

Sounds like a good idea to me though, that's if it fits.

I went with a Playtime 3" straight through. Just a cat and no mufflers.
It's loud on the outside but pretty good when cruising. The wind noise is louder.

It'd be interesting comparing a 200 with a tune, lock up converter and good suspension to the Ranger then.

Mainly due the weight of the 200 adding to stability and more torque than a Ranger.
I've never towed with a 200 though so no idea what they're like.

I'd just stick with it. Sounds like it's built to last. My set up is similar and rides fine on the original springs with the bottom 2 leafs flipped.

Unbolt the exhaust and take it for a spin around the block, you'll work out whether you like it or not pretty quickly.
Can be done in around halfa.

You could use a pre made loom from somewhere like Stedi and save the headaches.

I'm about to build a backseat platform soon as my fridge currently stays in there permanently.
Don't you find covering the foot well looses a fair bit of storage space?
