Re: My 2015 XLT 3.2 4x4 Ranger is Falling Apart ($100 Reward

Good luck sorting it out I would list the following possibilities: EGR COOLER LEAKING/STUFFED Torque converter dying or transmission oil past use by date BCM needs resetting with a scanner to get the lights going again and go back to original wiring as the one light off was probably the BCM any way....

Re: Would you buy another ranger/everest?

Sorry to hear about your nightmare It sounds like you bought a second hand car that was a lemon or had a dunking in sea water with all those electric issues. My second Wildtrak in 8 years now. After 16 months I have not had a single issue with my PX3 WT. My son just sold his 3 year old BT 50 and pic...

Re: Would you buy another ranger/everest?

Had my 2012 Px 1 Wildtrak for 6 years and 190000km. It had a hard life and wasnt perfect but Newstead Ford was a pleasure with warranty work . I loved that ute till the last day. I traded it in for a PX 3 3.2 Wildtrak auto a year ago. I would love to have the following added: Telescopic steering Sli...

Re: Home Beach Straddie Camping

Home beach is good . The camp sites may not have shady trees mostly but its location is great . Nice beach to swim and big flathead around. Roadhouse around corner has the best chips on island says my daughter in law...RSL across road has cheap dinners and lawn bowls. Library around corner . Enjoy.

They are all good. Home beach and Adder rock good with facilities . Main beach no facilities and long way south.
Flinders has toilets. Amity not too bad.
Depends on your needs. Adder rock my favourite with lots of shade.

These cop speed camera wagons and utes seem to idle happily all day and night all year long for 3 years then get sold to the public without issues. Good buy. Extremely low km reading.

Trotters. Glad to see you are now in a Ranger soon. However we do need to work on your love of a 338 Lapua. There are many better calibers to keep in your Ranger now !!!! Best jerky or biltong from deer .

Re: Battery replacement

The ssb75ti fits in my Wildtrak without any cutting. I did have to add a 3 mm washer to the clamp mounting bolt at the front .
I have a dashcam running permanently from the sig plug and even standing for a whole weekend it doesnt flatten that Ssb7ti.

A bit over exposed there and the people in the picture should be slightly more off centre to adhere to the 2/3 rule.
You can include a wheelie bin so we know its not shopped or a google photo.

I know the Hilux and the Hilux wagon version are well known to easily roll on gravel roads in South Africa but Toyota just denies there is / was a problem. Funny to read the Hilux owners comments on the video test.

Nothing yet to replace our Rangers until now? The new V6 Amarok still doesnt have rear airbags and more important a low range reverse capability so it can not back up a steep incline to push a heavy boat or caravan back.
