I'd go with the V6. Mate traded his bi-turbo in one one. Reckons it's heaps better, especially if you're towing heavy loads.
I'd love to get one but they're as rare as rocking horse doo-doo.

Re: Wiring a CB
It looks rough as bags but I extended the power lead and connected a ciggy lighter plug to it, ran it under the centre console and plugged it into the rear power outlet. Does the job.

Re: Finally upgraged to a new ranger!
Nice rig.
When you take photos can you do one of the dash, please? I hear that the newer models have a different layout. And have a look at what the centre display shows.
Thanks.

Here's one opinion on ATF temps.

I suppose that you'd need to refer to the ATF supplier's datasheet and the specs on the fluid in question.

Re: Howdy... from Gippsland
Hello all, Adele here form Traralgon in Victoria. Had my 2013 ranger for a month now and totally love it! Been doing some mods to it; fridge, deep cycle battery, mounting for max trax and high lift jack and shovel... Hi. I too hail from that part of the world. Where are you sourcing your bits and p...

Re: Fuel consumption.
I bought a demo Ranger Wildtrak 3.2 3 weeks ago. It has around 3,400km on the clock. Two fills, first one when I picked it up and one a few days ago. Averaging around 12 or so. Mostly around town and to work and back (10km there on 100 and 80 kay roads). I use an iOS app called Road Trip to record f...

Re: Ranger 3.2 litre vs 2 litre tow test.
That was an interesting video. I watched it before I made my decision to go with the 3.2 engined Wildtrak. A couple of interesting points. Where they clipped the brakeaway lanyard - on one of the safety chains. Aren't they supposed to be affixed to somewhere separate to the towbar assembly? No towin...

New Wildtrak Owner to Be
Hi Folks I've just bought a 2019.75 Wildtrak 3.2d. Hopefully I'll pick it up on Monday or Tuesday. It will replace a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Main duties will be general go-to-work vehicle, towing a 2.4t caravan and maybe going bush. I look forward to reading everyone's experiences with this vehicl...
