Re: Treatment after beach/saltwater driving

Just keep washing it. Park it on grass over a sprinkler, and give it a good wash, wash out the chassis rails, bash plates, under the tub etc... When your finished, have a beer, then do it again, and again... When you are sick of it, go back to Morton, or Fraser and remind yourself why your doing it....

"they allow -20mm to +20mm difference to either side of the ford ranger suspension " so up to 40mm of difference side to side is within tolerance (left down 20mm, right up 20mm). Gee that smells like a big pile of cow excrement to me. Obviously all the cow excrement is on the one side of the truck....

Aftermarket suspension will fix it. Just talk to suspension specialist - one who doesn't sell airbags about your options.

Don't bother resetting the factory suspension, replace it with something that will do the job and control the movement.

Re: Ctek wire size

I run 6B&S Twin back to the starter battery.

Good to fuse it both ends, and if you run a heavy enough cable you can jump start back through it.

Thinking of requiring & putting a few anderson plugs in to make it easier to jump, rewire.

There is a thread in the electrical section.

14.5 l/100 is a bit high, big tyres don't help, but I get 14.5 with big tyres, full of important heavy crap, bullbar, roof racks full of stuff (lots of drag).

When was the last full service?
We're all the filters changed / new oil etc...
Did it run smooth after the last service?
