BTW vehicle was fine for around 4 thousand kilometers including with the catch can on.
It all started with a quietish pop while passing a car.

Hi Garry, It's a pro vent 200 knockoff and all hoses and fittings are the same large size as stock. I am thinking it maybe a head gasket but only blown to an oil hole, don't know if that is possible but stranger things have happened. At the moment i am up s*** creek until i can get the vehicle trans...

Thanks for the reply Gerry, No oil in the catch can. That in itself worries me a bit as I have around 3000kls on the vehicle since installing. I did a very rough calculation of atm pressure at sea level of 14.7 by compression ratio of 15.7 answer 230 lbpsi. I know this is not the actual number as va...
