Re: My FX2 SPORT

Hey Lincoln, Pretty easy mod, did the same on my PX2. I bought 1m of rubber backed charcoal grey carpet runner from Bunnings, $14.90. Take the tailgate cover off, 8 x torx screws. Cut the ends off with a jigsaw or similar. File the edges smooth. I cut up the scone burners' yoga mat (let's hope she ...

Yep, have to turn off the front parking sensors every single time I park in my garage.
No idea if it works with the reverse.... I'll be checking that tomorrow

Re: Ranger delivery wait times

I notice the interior 220v power socket is not there anymore Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk I have the 240v power socket in my 2021 Wildtrak X, surprised yours haven't got it. They no longer have the pull out sun shade which was a feature I liked. And it hasn't got the middle tie down points i...

Re: PX3 Side mirrors

Fitted the P52 kit from Trac Electronics to the 21.75 XLT. Auto fold mirrors on key lock. Auto close windows on key lock. (Plus some other window functions.) Auto fold mirrors are dead easy, just the panel above the fuse box near drivers door. Kit comes with clear instructions to follow (downloaded,...

How'd you tap into the reverse lights? Can you elaborate on that please?

Re: Noob offroading questions

Regarding the space for front bar I was in much the same situation, I had about 15cm to play with if I remember correctly. It was also pretty clear from my early off-roading that I had to fit a bar as the approach angle with the factory bumper was by far the biggest limitation. It took me quite a l...

Hey Blueshine, things I have changed/modded on my Wildtrak, Catch can - Western filters, iDrive - on sale at autobarn, Light bar - Stedi, Snorkel - Ebay Outback Armour rear shocks and AT tyres. and the only reason i changed the tyres is because I was heading inland for a few weeks. The Dunlop HT wa...

I have idrive fitted to 2021 XLT 3.2 Have it set on U6. U9, although it's fun, makes the traction control light come on constantly and that just gets annoying.... In hindsight, I would have gone for a different throttle controller. At least one with a dedicated crawl mode for off-road l, to have a m...

Re: Stedi switch panel

I'm undecided between the Stedi or the LF switch panel. Lightbar/Work lights/RJ45 pass through switches and possibly one or two others. The stedi looks like a simple plug in, where as the LF, being more expensive too, does look like it fits better, but by all accounts is a pain to remove the side pa...

My useless accessory, a wheel carrier that plugs into the tow bar, lot of time and labour, ended up putting a rack on top and that is where the 6th wheel now sits, any one want a wheel carrier;) Ha ha thats gold!
