Re: Sport V6 or Wildtrak Bi-turbo?
Hi All, Just adding my comment to this thread - remember if you go with the new V6 expect higher fuel consumption. Totally agree with other comments to purchase the V6 if your going to be towing heavy trailers regularly though I have owned previous the 3.2 litre. Was hesitant to drop to the bi-turbo...

Re: Wiring a CB
Thanks Trublu, was not aware there was a manual available for all Rangers on Fords website.
Thought that wouldn't be readily available - only to Ford dealers.
Will have a look at it -appreciate the feedback

Re: Lift kit + new tyres
Hi all, Regarding Tom123 original post - just adding one point though haven't had a chance to read all the responses as yet. In regards to the lift option after warranty just remember if you want a legal lift @ 2" - 50 mm then take into account 285/60/18 will already lift you around 13 mm off origin...

Re: Wiring a CB
Hi mate, keep away from the fuse box under the dash is my recommendation. Had a Ranger canopy fitted recently by a professional company that required constant power for the rear console lighting. They wouldn't touch any of the existing electrical fuse boxes and tapped directly from the battery. Appe...

Re: V6 Wildtrack carrying capacity warning
Hi Grant, thanks for the info but if you refer to to the last pdf brochure released from Ford for the T6.1 Ranger released for the last MY-21.75 platform and refer to the most common double cab XLT pick-up and Wildtrak variants the published payloads are 1003 kgs for the XLT in 2.0 litre engine & 97...

Re: Lift kit + new tyres
Hey mate, also have the Ranger-X variant, tyre shop said 285/65/18 were all good. It depends if your trying to stay with the factory CSA rims or not. Did a lot of research prior and responses were quite correct as the tyres will scrub depending on the rim offset - tyre shops generally just want to s...

Re: Another Wildtrak X owner
Hi All, ran into the same problems with MY-21.75 Wildtrak, Ford delayed delivery by many months behind estimated and started deleting things. You had to check the current brochure to keep up but at least they left the SYNC-3 intact together with Navigation plus Ford Pass. New T6.2 platform seems sch...

Re: New Wildtrak. New Member.
Did you get your new Wildtrak yet? I waited 7 months for mine - ordered in May and finally delivered in December 2021. Sadly now a year older in January 2022 but that is the way it goes! Got to say though went into production in early November and delivered in late December given it came from Thaila...
