The liner could have been trimmed/cut better than that, I'd be asking for replacement liner and for someone who has the skills to do quality work.

Re: PXII Vibrations/Shaking

Hi Guys. Yes, the engine and gear box mounts have been checked, all in good order. Temperature not so much, when it's cold, the high RPM takes out the vibration at idle, once engine is hot the RPM drops to about 600 and the idle vibration is noticeable. Still, nothing can explain why the car has su...

I have diff lock on my 2wd ranger and find it very handy with dirt tracks in the bush, makes a big difference with loose or wet surfaces, you still got be careful with its limitations compared with 4wd but certainly worth having.

That code is fuel pressure related, pressure regulator valve or injector pump could be culprits, I'd be more inclined to take it a diesel mechanic who has more experience in diagnosing.

I don't see the point of plug in hybrids. It seems to take the disadvantages of EV and ICE and combines them. If I need to plug the thing in, just give me a full electric. Otherwise an ordinary hybrid would be better. PHEV just has one more option to plug into charge over HEV vehicles, to be honest...

Yes Talbingo is a steep one, and as you say very limited opportunity to pull over. I hope you sorted out the van brakes as well when you got home. When going down long steep descents I like to adjust the van brakes to apply just a little more braking than the Ranger. That way, the more capable brak...

You should not be in top gear doing 60kph which will cause the engine to labour which also may cause vibration in your driveline, I find my ranger will sit between 4th & 5th gear at that speed.
