Re: Can the reverse sensers be turned off

I have a 2012 XLT and the reverse sensors have always turned off when a trailer is attached. If it has an oem towbar, it should have a trailer module under the passenger seat. With the led's, I fitted resistors to my van and just use a patch lead for other trailers. Thanks Grant - I tested this las...

For those who want to know where the drain hose for A/C, it sits up above the front of your transmission & bellhousing. Have fun getting your hand up to clean out the hose as it will be near impossible. I have taken a photo of it so you know what it looks like and how difficult it will be. https://i...

Does anyone have any input on how much I can delay my annual service without affecting warranty? I have a 2018 PX2 and while I did reasonable k's when it was young, it has only done 6,000km in the last year. I don't know if the 6sp had this but at least on the 10sp box you can leave it in drive and use the little manual buttons on the gear stick to remove/add top gears that the auto box is allowed to use. This way you can leave it on auto but prevent use of the high gears as you wish. With just one cli...

Not true the conrods are removable. But they are not supposed to be re-used. The problem is just buying one piston. Also I would get the injectors checked, odds on the cracked piston was caused by a faulty / sticky injector. Rebuild kits are available Example https://umrengines.com.au/page/2/?make=...

And servicing confusion already exists, why is it that Ford specify 15,000 Km oil change intervals, and Mazda 10,000 for the exact same engine? Because Mazda specify a lower grade of oil. I thought Mazda was same as Ford specs for the 2.2 & 3.2 engines, usually increased sump capacity also plays a ...
