Re: Muffler delete

Same, couple years ago on my px1. Your driving style will attract more attention than the exhaust note, it’s not super loud. And the highway note is good IMO.
Shorter pipe , less restriction, , save 10 kg, no muffler = improvement in my book
Hope that helps

Yeah I didn't ever think of it being a right or wrong side up. More which side is going to get pitted and rock blasted on each trip.. both my spares are pretty much trashed on both sides now. Personal preference I think is the answer.

Hi Edsel Thanks I didn’t know that, I bought these a year ago in Melbourne. The white lettering is on one side only. You instruct the fitter with your preference facing in or out. I went one size up to 265 70 17 and it’s been ideal for me. All the best https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180817/8679d...

Depends how hard you are going to push your rig and what your budget is. I must say my factory 2011 pressed sheet metal always feels pretty light when I remove it to do servicing, and I have a few grazes it in but it's a risk I'm willing to manage. There are plenty of after market under body armour ...

It still should be no higher than around 1900. My tip though would be watch reversing in underground car parks with the rear facing radio antenna. Plenty of sprinkler heads to skewer which would be a wet outcome..

Yes agree , it's tight. I very carefully use a vise to clamp the top and bottom together after changing the filter and o ring. It's just to engage the o ring between the top and bottom, once this is done the screw ring can be screwed up by hand, and jobs done.
