New gen Ranger
Ordered my new gen wildtrack last week, eta on delivery is May 23. Done nearly 200000km in my px1 with no major issues, been a great ute. How about a new section for new gens as a lot of changes from the px3 that warrant a new section for mine???

Re: G'day
I chucked a camera on the back of the canopy pointing back with a 7" tft screen mounted to the interior mirror post and wired to come on with the ign as a rear view mirror. 2 camera input allows for a dedicated reversing camera pointing down if you want as well.

Could they bolt any more crap on to the orange one?? Thing must be over gvm with all that stuff hanging off it
Not that that would worry them given the lift kit/wheel combo etc
Guess bling is best over there...

Re: Alloy Canopy!
Just one observation, with my canopy I snuck the fuel filler tube up between the canopy and the cab to get a more height and a positive inflow to the tank. Filler mounted that low is a very flat feed to the tank and can be a pain and slow to fill.

Re: Long range tank fill issue.
I have the factory tank in mine with a larger vent hose installed and fill with hiflow as I also have a 220lt tank in the canopy for work use. I have found putting the nozzle in upside down seems to avoid any "backing up" of fast flow fuel, maybe it just follows the pipe better flow wise but works f...

Re: Long range tank fill issue.
Install a bigger diameter vent pipe, air needs to be able to escape as fast as it is displaced by incoming fuel, if not the result is blowback as you are describing.

Way ahead of you Linc, I suspect it is the consumption of multiply 3 can units that led my feeble mind to try and rationalise the colours of my strut set and the implications it has on my manhood
Hell another 3 can unit may cure my dilemma, I think I will try that

Love my billies, although running dobbies spring set with them. A bit more macho colour would be nice tho, thinking more like a dandyline (cape weed) colour than a daisy. Work bloody well tho so colour does not affect the performance at all. Maybe i will paint them ford blue to satisfy my macho colo...

Re: Random Rangers
Interesting hardlid/rear visor on the Prague ranger. You would think with the worldwide sales and popularity of these that someone would be doing diff ratio sets for these by now?? Be a decent market for them given the size tyres that can be put on a ranger with minimal modifications, could make 37'...

Cheers Butch, Full seat backrest would not be a problem and if i could get 1 squab in that would be perfect. Have to have a closer look at a super cab to compare squab mountings to see if it will fit. Prob a few guys who have removed them from super cabs that I could get one second hand if it will w...

Supercab seats in dual cab??
Hi Guys, Just a random thought that my tiny brain came up with. I have been tossing up whether to remove the rear seats and build a platform for more storage room, fridge, work stuff etc but do very occasionally need another seat. Then I thought what if the super cab seat could be fitted to make the...

Yes, built them ourselves. Was a bit of a rush before our CSR trip, finished them the night before we left. A few things I would tweak a little with it but happy with the design and lines. Will probably do the same when I update next and incorporate those tweaks. Still need to remove it to tidy up t...

That is my major concern, generally like to wait for the series 2 upgrade with the major bugs etc ironed out before jumping into a new model. I do like the temptation of the possible new motor lineup tho, in my mind that would make the ranger almost the complete package. Oh well, I will start lookin...
