I personally would go the V6, the Bi Turbo is good for the wife to go shopping, the V6 is a proven work horse in other platforms, Just a personal opinion

Not that bad, I work in a panel shop and I can safely say there are way worse clips than this.
Quite easy to knock the heads off with a chisel and just replace them, you can buy a pack of 100 for under $20 and you can keep your sanity

No, its on the rear of the motor on the right top of the bell housing, it has 1 8mm bolt holding it in and a plug

Ok the new sensor comes with a sacrificial bit that gets shaved of with the revolutions of the motor, when I refitted mine I just measured the gap and positioned it with the same Gap. I have not had a issue with mine yet, I have changed them on other cars as they are a common thing that fails. Might be worth reading if it has codes, it should have logged something. I have just changed a motor and its located on the right of the engine at the right top of the bell housing, 1 bolt ...
