Re: Regretful/ useless accessories or modifications

I would think most Rangers I see should be nominating mud tyres 99% road use 1% dirt road I certainly would agree with that, mud tires are bloody noisy, expensive and increase fuel consumption but wow they are so macho (not), I benefit from that because I buy the standard wheels and tires from the ...

Re: My Ranger Wildtrak X- new to the Ranger club!

Hi Travis. How tall is the fridge? Looking forward to hearing about the results after a rubber matt. I see the Waeco CFX75DZW sits under the roller with about 10mm clearance (from specs). I have a tub liner and was thinking of putting a roller in for the fridge or a whole tray roller (Bed Slide in ...

My 37ltr Waeco and 60ltr ARB. Fits easy with the new mat. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200129/ea2b9e9ada29ed9542e8108171bacbbd.jpg I thought it was a lot closer but there’s plenty of room for the ARB. The Waeco is a bit tight but ok. Mat was from fleabay. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-PX1-...

Re: My Ranger Wildtrak X- new to the Ranger club!

Hi Brett, I run an ARB 60lt fridge under my roller shutter. The front edge of the shutter just touches the top of the fridge insulation cover. It will be interesting soon as I've just purchased a rubber mat for the tub to stop things moving around. I may have to leave the top cover of the fridge of...

Re: 2021 engine's

The Amarok V6 is currently the most powerful engine on the ute (mid sized) market, maybe Ford will consider the VW engine because they know German Engineering leads the market! The F150 is a much bigger car I thought they were powered by a Cummins engine, anyway the US mostly specializes in Petrol e...

It looks like the next engine for the Ranger could be the V6 from the Amarok, just saying :D Ford and Volkswagen to team up to build next Ranger and Amarok utes, Ford and Volkswagen expect the dual-cab ute to hit the market by 2022 https://www.news.com.au/technology/innovation/motoring/motoring-news...

Going off topic a bit but do others have trouble with their fridges cutting out when the vehicle motor is not running due to the OEM battery not having a very high standing voltage once the motor is turned off. I know the fridge is OK as I carry 2 x 130 amp auxillary batteries to use when out bush ...
