Have you got glass coverage on your insurance as you don't have to pay the $700+ excess or with mine I didn't when my rear screen shattered from heat n cold. You could also do undersprung axle and or drop axle where the axle ends are welded beside the actual axle so when you mount it to spring you can have it above or below the center of main axle which will gain or reduce height without changing springs etc. I put axle on my Jayco Finch under the spring...

Ford bearings have bigger centers than Holden on the outside smaller bearing. Holden is bout 1/2 inch and Ford are 9/16 or bigger.

Could always make something up with a piano hinge or something at bottom of guards or replace it with black icecream plastic material like the rally cars do n cut to suit. Garden edging is a bit to tuff n will rip ya mounts off where this is softer.

Na mate the ARB poly is still in original tank space and sits about same level as original with its bash plate on only without bash plate as they are thicker n apparently tougher.

Took mine off due to barely ever using it and it getting in the way when going threw scrub.
When it was on i used standard L shape inch wide brackets clamped on prorack racks with prorack twistlock mounts.
Had brackets going upwards to get clearance over doors and headroom at car end.

My ranger has developed a clicking sound about 4-5 clicks when i start it up or when the temperature is being adjusted in the cabin, i have diagnosed it to have something to do with the heater box adjusting the flap that controls the amount of warm/cold air ratio. With flat tyres and compressed front end the bike will be shorter oh and then you can loosen the rear so back tyre moves forward. I've only got small bikes for my son's so don't know about 450's or bigger.
