G'day Fellas/Fellettes

Post by muskrat »

G'day all, Happy Ausie Day. This is my first visit.
A few months ago I bought my very first NEW car (I'm 60). I've had a few new bikes but never a car. It's a 2021 Ranger cab chassis 3.2, 6 speed manual, its the "poverty pac" with dealer fitted alloy tray, bullbar, tow bar, reverse camera, electric trailer brakes. I had local sparkie fit driving & reverse lights.
Very pleased so far with 10K on her. Tows my small pop top with ease.
A friend with one similar mentioned the wheel nuts so this prompted me to join the forum. Will be getting proper nuts today for the dealer to install at the 1st service.
Cheers.
Musky.

'day Fellas.
Well I'd heard horror stories about the alloy cover on the wheel nuts being mangled trying to fix a flat out in the bush! So I bought a set of Calibur nuts.
Just yesterday I removed the std nuts with a well fitting 19mm single hex socket. They all came off unscathed! So if anyone wants a set I have them with minimal marks. Only 10K on the Ranger and 1st time touched.
I'm in Lithgow now but came from Conjola Park on the south coast (victim of the Black Summer Fires).
Do I need to upload pics to a host to post here?
Cheers

Nice mate. Keep the photos coming with your upgrades.

The search function works really well and answers most questions you might have. As always though, if you can’t find it, just ask.

Cheers, DJ

My advice is do not get it serviced at ford, find a recommended mechanic and enjoy the new car

Weelllll, choose your Ford dealer carefully. My local dealer is very good. Norton Ford in Horsham, zero complaints.
cheers, Butch.
