I have recently bought a 2022 v6 next gen ranger with factory brake controller (bc). Would anyone know for sure if this is a pulse type or direct dc voltage via the black wire? I have a boat trailer with hydrastar hba16 actuator that must have direct dc voltage. Any advice, experiences would be much appreciated.

Thanks Trublu. Link does say it is compatible with EOH brakes. Just still not sure about the hydrastar system as some have been burnt out due to pulse system cycling on and off. I will try contacting Ford help on Monday.

Update: had hydrastar 1600 actuator fitted to boat trailer and when connected to factory brake controller, all seemed to be working ok
