Just got an email, one step closer........ :D

Built and ready for shipping.
Hi,
Great news, your Ranger has just been built and is heading to the port to be shipped to Australia! We'll be back in touch when it's on a boat and on its way.

Good to see you got the updated light bar brackets, for such a basic thing my god did it take many trips to the plant to get them approved, ironically a changed they asked us to help them at them with (at the 12th hour) as the clamps supplied with the light bar (Ford spec'd) did not work due to our tube tolerances.

I just ordered mine about 10 days ago, Wildtrak 3.2 in Alabaster White, dealer said October but he said 3.2 is easier to get a hand on , does it means it might come in earlier than. October?

Also how do I track it ?

Just got an email from ford advising that the "your ranger is now in production" and gave me a NSC number , whats does this means in regards to the lead time to delivery? When can I expect the car here ?

Obviously waiting for delivery is a frustrating thing. I can understand.

That's why I am so glad I bought straight from dealer stock, and only changed dealer installed option. My wait time was only 1 week, and I actually got it in 6 days. I still got exactly what I wanted, because different dealers have all sorts of pre-optioned variations just sitting there. I just looked around the various dealers in town and picked a new XLT that already had the tech pack and 18" wheels. I grant there may be some combinations of options that might be harder to find. What made it easier for me is that I wanted white paint :)

if you know the name of the ship you can look up it's ETA into port on ship tracker, vessel finder or marine traffic.

Only Ford could give you this. Maybe ask the dealer salesman, he has a lot more incited connections into Ford.

I ordered in July for an XLS Sport, which was already in production. Never got any emails from Ford, just rang the dealer every couple weeks for an update. Mine's sitting somewhere between Singapore and Brisbane atm, I asked the dealer for the ship name so I could track it. Delivery date is September 18th, salesman is confident it won't be delayed from here on in, and is hopeful it may get in early.

Hi newbieranger8

This is copied from the email I received.

It's on a boat.
Your brand new Ranger has just been shipped and is on its way to Australia. You can track your Ranger's journey as it makes its way to you. Your Ranger is on board vessel Canadian Highway, track its progress as it crosses the seas here.

When you clicked on "here" it took you to this site
https://www.marinetraffic.com
and showed me the progress of the ship.

Wow! Mine's scheduled to get into Brisbane tomorrow morning, really hoping it'll get to the dealer ahead of time and might be ready for pickup end of this week/sometime next! Got a whole list of jobs around the place that are waiting for it...like the pile of building rubbish under the house that absolutely is not going in the boot of the WRX

Nice! Mine got to the dealership today (so quick, the ship only docked Wednesday morning!). It needs a towbar and electric brakes fitted, pickup will definitely be next week, I'm hoping for earlier rather than later! Been sharing one car for 6 weeks and I'm over it haha.

I ordered a new XLS a couple of days ago, delivery scheduled for 31/03/2022. My local dealer doesn't sell manuals for some reason they couldn't explain, so ordered elsewhere. Gives me time to collect the farkles, and I may swap some stuff from my 2011 BT50. Definitely keeping the 12 Mazda alloys for it, and the BT will then get the new Ford ones prior to sale.

I have the 240v power socket in my 2021 Wildtrak X, surprised yours haven't got it.
They no longer have the pull out sun shade which was a feature I liked. And it hasn't got the middle tie down points in the tray, that's the ones I use the most. Had to buy a set from Ford. One screw is fitted, so it's easy to fit, as the screw hole is still behind the liner for the second screw.
