I did a search on eBay and found alot.
Great idea. I might get a pair for my car to cover all the scratches and protect it from further scratches.

I got a standard XL grille, mirror covers from an Everest Trend (as they are colour-coded) and side vents from an FX4. Mirror covers and side vents are direct from Ford. All three were different shades of black. I decided to paint, so all were the same satin black.

Happy to give part numbers and prices for the mirror covers and side vents, if anyone wants.

I have the Mazda 3 short antenna on mine.
Havnt noticed a difference in reception.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/191593701837

I did buy one of those cheap eBay ones at first and I didn't like how the base flared out. Also felt cheap and nasty and fell apart in my hands.

No issues with reception.

Linc, does the Mazda aerial diameter match the aerial base diameter? The base of the bee sting aerial flares out, and I'm not overly keen on that.

How did you pop the side mirror covers off?
YEah, keen on prices if you can shear?

Rough prices are ~$350 for grille (eBay), ~$20ea for side mirror trim (Ford) and ~$85ea for side vent (Ford). We're doing major reno's on house, so will struggle to find receipts at the moment

I paid ~$450 to have 5 X wheels powder coated.

To remove the side mirror trim, I purchased one of those trim removal kits. I think I got mine from Jaycar. I just used one of those to pry the trims off. From memory, I snapped a few of the smaller clips, but it still 'locks' in and you wouldn't know any different from looking at it.

I also had to add some foam in the corner. When they were first fitted, I would get an annoying whistling sound. I had a look at the original mirror covers and they have a strip of foam. So I stuck some foam on the new mirror trims in same location, and no more whistling!

Sorry, only just saw this. You have to remove the wheel arch liner and reach up the back of the fender. There are ~4 clips that you 'pop' out. Installing new one is as simple as pushing into place.

It's been a while - I've finally managed to take some updated photos of what the toy looks like now.

Just about got it to where I want, in terms of upgrades - hopefully! There always seems to be additional things I want to do.
