Post by nooffence1 »

This is my first ranger, had it for 9 months now. Wanting to do some touring probably next year. Cape York trip is on my bucket list so want to get it setup for that.

2inch ironman lift kit
285/65r18 BFG KO2
Tradie Rhino platform with backbone and wind deflector
Custom made snorkel by pilly's custom fabrication
Ironman barwork all around

Looks mint! What rims have you put on, and what offset are they?

Was the wind deflector put on with the platform or added later? If you ran with and without does it make any difference to the wind noise and fuel consumption?

I bought it separately. Wind noise was improved slightly. Still noisy though. I had droning at 100ish and it helped with that.

Still not sure if it was worth it, I should take it off and see if it's a big difference.

Didn't run without one long enough to notice if there was a difference in fuel economy.

Looks good! Did you have any problems fitting the 285/65s, any cutting or rubbing?

No rubbing issues. Didn't have to cut anything.
