can give u feed back now: lux is when compared to the ranger: underpowered, more expensive, less standard equipment, lower towing capacity, no 240v socket, no tub socket 12v, no locking rear gate, etc etc etc. 1 and absolutely only positive is the dpf is up in the engine bay and well shrouded. thats it.

Interesting overview, Lincoln. I researched and drove the Hilux, D-max, Colorado and Ranger before choosing (didn't drive the Nissan or the Volkswagen- no extra cab Volkswagen and didn't want the sprung rear in the Nissan). The Ranger stood out significantly as the best choice, articularly after having driven all of them (okay, I mentioned I am not enamored of the looks, but looks aren't everything- I should know!

).

And Ford fan81 , I din't know we were friends (but I'd like to be , hope I haven't screwed up so soon!).
