hey mate, just a tip, the heat shroud isnt really required. i removed mine on both my px1 and 2 rangers after fitting the 3 inch exhaust with no issue. just a tip, hope that helps. cheers
After watching mixrig vid I finally decided to remove my front sway bar too and now if this ranger had his removed it would not have that left wheel so high in the air and also so feels so much safer to drive off road as you get very little see sawing effect even the wife likes how it is now hated it before off road, mine has been off for a few thousand Ks now and I've done lots of hi way and towing, best thing you can change i think.MickJT wrote:

I would check with Uneek if they have re-designed them as the current version have caused damage to my sills and others. There are dents above each bracket where they have flexed up.axs wrote:@MLU, what are your thoughts on the Uneek4x4 sliders? They seem to get mixed opinions but I'm tossing up between Uneek and Legendex, keen to get first-hand experience opinion.
How did you get the true speed adjustment done?MLU wrote:Other mods have been;
Uneek 4x4 rock sliders
Runva EVO-Q winch (front)
Runva 11XP Premium winch (rear) - in a few weeks
Factor 55 Prolink (front) & Flatlink (rear)
3" front struts - Monster Rides Matrix
15mm front bump stop spacers (to stop the 35's hitting the inner arches on full compression)
SPC adjustable UCA's
2" rear OME soft springs
Monster Rides Matrix rear shocks
Alien Offroad Bonnet struts & tailgate strut
Alien Offroad tailgate lip protector
In-cab switch panel in the sunglasses spot
I-Drive throttle control unit
High output alernator (after the factory one killed it's bearing)
HN Customs twin gauge pod (Boost and EGT)
LLA Led headlight globes and parkers
Uneek 4x4 recovery points
9" 185w AE4x4 driving lights
50" 288w curved lightbar on Bullseye screen brackets
40w Aurora cube lights on Bullseye bonnet brackets
3" turbo back exhaust with cat / no muffler
Driveshaft centre carrier spacer kit (to eliminate vibration after lift)
Head-up display adjusted to read true road speed with larger tyres
Global Automotive neoprene seat covers
3D Floor mats
And about to put a Rhino Pioneer platform rack on the tub with Rhino HD crossbars
This has taken a few years to do, so not all at once.
What brand of diff bash plates are you planning to get?MLU wrote:Hi guys,
I've been quiet for a while but manged to get out for an awesome day trip with Evo from the LROR / Aussie Four Wheelers channels on Youtube.
We met up in the Lithgow / Newennes Plains area at the Zig Zag Railway carpark.
Part 1 has recently been uploaded and part 2 will be up in a few weeks.
Vid link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYwEax4Nz8Y
Tracks we covered were; Wombat Holes, Powerlines Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 3 had been recently dozed and was as smooth as a freeway onramp![]()

After lunch we went continued up the hill to Moonrock which was where part finishes on the vid.
We then cut across from part of Sunnyside tack through the water sub station plant and down to Pipeline Track.
We came across a Thai bloke in a very fresh looking Yellow FJ Cruiser 2/3rd's the way up Pipeline and he'd done surprisingly well with a 2" lift, 31" AT's at 25psi plus unscathed factory side steps..! He tagged along for the remainder and did a remarkably good job for such a stock'ish fourby.![]()
Finished up with a quick pinch up to one of the summit lookouts and called it a day.
Headed back down the Gloworm Tunnel Rd and Old Bells Line Rd to air up back at the Zig Zag carpark.
The Ranger stood up to the test and barwork, sliders and bashplates all got a hammering..!![]()

No signs of dents or bending on the 4mm Bushskinz plates either -awesome stuff.
Tailshaft got a few good scrapes and the factory transfer case stone guard was bent up onto the TFC sending a bit of reverb through the body.
Aquired some grit and stones in one of the front calipers so that's the annoying squeaking you'll hear after the 1st mud hole.
I think I'll be adding on a few other bash plates and guards before the new year. TFC, Fuel tank and rear diff guards are on the wish list.![]()
Mickey ATZ's did awesome on the rocks, in the mud and on the dry sandy tracks. Ran them at 18psi. Evo dropped his to 15psi in his 110 Defender.
Filming was great with a dual perspective happening and use of a phone gimbal to smooth out the vision being captured.
I must say Evo and his partner Amanda were probably the nicest people I'd met in a while from a 1st encounter.
They've got some awesome vids on their channels - I recommend checking 'em out...!

Once I get clear of some current mechanical repair costs I'll be getting the Superior Engineering ones as they look to be the best design I've seen so far.skumancer wrote:What brand of diff bash plates are you planning to get?MLU wrote:Hi guys,
